Milan expansion campaign
Now online the video as a project report on the expansion of the Harvest Map in the area of Milan, Italy. The harvest map is a powerful tool that can help architects and designers to create an urban environment with a circular economy. Result of a workshop given by Dutch pioneer architect Cèsare Peeren, Superuse on site. The campaign shows the Superuse approach implemented for the project Villa Maggiore. Thanks to Dutch Creative Industries Fund, Elisa Saturno, Politecnico di Milano, Giacimenti Urbani, Tempo Riuso and the harvest team.
HOOGWATERGEUL VOOR DE IJSSEL
The new book regarding the Hoogwatergeul Veessen-Wapenveld is the biggest landscape intervention of the Dutch national flood-prevention program 'Room for the river'.
For this project, Denis worked in collaboration with Waterboard Vallei en Veluwe, ZUS [Zones Urbaines Sensibles] and Veenenbos en Bosch – Landscape Architects, documenting the complexity of the project during the last three years.
The book offers insights into the social and geographical context and the innovative approach of this landscape intervention.

THE RE-USE ATLAS
A DESIGNER’S GUIDE TOWARDS A CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Denis's work is featured in this amazing book by Duncan Baker-Brown, who takes the reader on a journey via four distinct ‘steps’: recycling, reuse, reduce, closed-loop, from a linear economy toward a system emulating the natural world, i.e, a circular economy.
Radical perspectives from the arts
'Creating emptiness’ from FLOATING SPIRIT has been featured in this amazing book.
"Facing Value" anthologizes the work of philosophers, scientists, historians, architects and economists, including Walter Benjamin, Franco "Bifo" Berardi, Michel de Certeau, Anthony Huberman, Charles Jencks, Siegfried Kracauer, Jan Ritsema, Viktor Shklovsky and Jan Verwoert, presenting alternative visions of value that will inspire readers to regain personal power, share energy and creativity, and build toward a vital and just society.
The Architecture of Reuse
Another compelling book, by Mark Gorgolewski, features Denis's work. Mounting resource shortages worldwide coupled with skyrocketing extraction costs for new materials have made the prospect of materials reuse and recycling an issue of paramount importance. The book is a valuable source of information, insight, and fresh ideas about a crucial aspect of the growing sustainable design movement.
YOU ARE HERE
'You Are Here’ is an interactive installation that displays Almere's city map on touch-screens; developed for Kunstlinie Almere, It allows the inhabitants of the city to virtually explore the ‘new town’ and the stories of the inhabitants. The interactive map has been divided by themes, city blocks, and historical periods: from pre-history to future urban and landscape developments.
A special thank you to Mrs Judith flapper for this amazing journey.

DESKO CIRCULAR DESIGN AWARD 2016
by Superuse on site for Viisi
Cèsare Peeren, the co-founder of Superuse, is the winner of Desko Circular Design Award 2016. The interiors design project for Viisi’s Head Quarter in Amsterdam is the most complete documentation Denis has realized regarding Superuse's approach. Sponsored by Viisi, the documentation cover the whole process: from material harvest to prototyping; from the installation and final results.
COSTRUIRE A ZERO RIFIUTI
Zero Waste Building
Denis is invited as a lecturer to Zero Waste Building at Casa dell' Architettura, Rome. The seminar is organized by phd. Paola Altamura, author of the book: TOWARDS ZERO WASTE BUILDINGS. Strategies and tools for construction, demolition waste prevention, and upcycling feature photography from Superuse's projects.
Group exhibition with Young Blood Initiative
Exodus is a group exhibition with the artist collective Young Blood Initiative at Corridor Art Space in Amsterdam. The new work by denis work TIR#7 is a night shot of the back-side of the trucks at the border between France and the U.K., a route where often migrant hides in vehicles to cross the border.
In preparation for this exhibition, Denis also produced the film campaign for crowdfunding; see links below.
