MOES is a bar and restaurant in the basement below De Appel Arts Center in Amsterdam oriented to seasonal, local ingredients. Superuse has designed an interior based on the same philosophy: find the materials nearby.

 

The spaces fade within different atmospheres: from the entrance on the busy street to the quiet backyard. Most of the materials were found within a few kilometres: cable reels from street constructions, light boxes from Schiphol airport, rubber rollers from a printing industry, and acoustic system ceilings from office buildings; for a total of 60% from residual flows.
