CHAMBER OF SECRETS
“Poetry is an awareness of the world, a particular way of relating to reality.”
Andrei Tarkovsky

The hydrodynamic laboratory in the Noordoostpolder shows more than half a century of practice in the field of water management and the prevention of coastal erosion. Left behind, treasures of this knowledge are hidden in the surrounding woods: scale models of dams and harbours that helped to study and design infrastructures on a national and worldwide scale.
The woods of the Waterloopbos have been declared a national nature reserve. Imported seeds and musk by the Norwegian's granite rocks reveal a surprising combination of flora and fauna every year. With the mysterious atmosphere of the night shots, the viewer gets closer to the elements of the man-made landscape, revealing the footholds of decades of research and the spectacular interaction with nature.
The four photographs represent a study that has not been further developed.
